How to Clear Cookies and Cache
Clearing your browser’s cookies and cache is often the first step to resolving login problems. Follow these simple instructions for your device:
How to Clear Cookies and Cache
For Android Devices (Chrome)
- Open the Chrome app on your Android device.
- Tap the three-dot menu (usually in the top-right corner).
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Privacy and security.
- Choose Clear browsing data.
- Select Cookies and site data and Cached images and files (make sure other options are unchecked unless you want to clear them as well).
- Tap Clear data.
Once completed, try logging in to your Aurora KiwiSaver account again.
For iPhone and iPad (Safari)
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Scroll down and tap Safari.
- Scroll further and tap Clear History and Website Data.
- Confirm your action by tapping Clear History and Data.
Now, reopen Safari and log in to your Aurora KiwiSaver account.
For iPhone and iPad (Chrome)
- Open the Chrome app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Tap Privacy and then Clear Browsing Data.
- Choose Cookies, Site Data and Cached Images and Files (ensure other options are unchecked unless you wish to clear them too).
- Tap Clear Browsing Data and confirm your action.
Once completed, try logging in to your Aurora KiwiSaver account again.
For Desktop Browsers (Chrome)
- Open the Chrome browser on your desktop.
- Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the browser.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- In the left-hand menu, click Privacy and Security.
- Under Privacy and Security, click Clear browsing data.
- In the pop-up window:
- Select Cookies and other site data.
- Select Cached images and files.
- Ensure other options are unchecked unless you want to clear additional data.
- Use the Time range dropdown to select All time.
- Click Clear data to complete the process.
Once completed, close and reopen Chrome, then try logging in to your Aurora KiwiSaver account again.
For Desktop Browsers (Safari - macOS)
- Open Safari on your Mac.
- From the top menu, click Safari and then select Preferences.
- Go to the Privacy tab.
- Click Manage Website Data.
- Use the search bar to find "Aurora" or scroll through the list to locate the relevant data.
- Select the site(s) and click Remove.
- Close the preferences window and restart Safari.
Now, try logging in to your Aurora KiwiSaver account again.
Still Having Trouble?
If clearing your cookies and cache doesn’t resolve the issue, the next step is to reset your password:
- Go to the login page and click "Don't remember your password?"
- Follow the instructions to reset your password.
- Log in with your new credentials.
